Congratulating the Marshall University womens' basketball team for winning the Southern Conference Tournament Championship.

Whereas, The Marshall University womens' basketball team completed its season with an outstanding record, qualifying it for the Southern Conference Tournament; and
Whereas, The Marshall University womens' basketball team won its first Southern Conference Tournament Championship, earning it a bid to the NCAA tournament; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the Marshall University womens' basketball team for winning the Southern Conference Tournament Championship; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Marshall University womens' basketball team is commended for its participation in the NCAA tournament; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the president of Marshall University and head coach Sarah Evans-Moore.
